well, that's one of the most attractive colonies of fish I have ever seen. Not too bad of a video either!

These are amazing pics of the wanamensis. Im really interested in getting a few of these guys. Does anyone know of a good breeder or source in the north-west UK?

Excellent! ..They are definitely happy there.Something to look forward to later on.This guy is still young yet and has a lot of filling out to do still. It is hard keeping those fins intact with all the fighting for the females they do all day long

I really enjoy seeing everyone's different photos...their techniques and perspectives all their own style, and their tanks, lighting; fish during different ages of maturity. It all affects the outcome of the photos. I forgot to point out, that in the 2nd pic, there's a male and female(bottom)...the females are duller coloration for sure to the naked eye...but there are things you can capture with the camera that you just don't see day to day...and well, it's really difficult to pick up a lot of what we do see without distortion of some sort from the camera, flashes, lighting, and digital resizing, etc. But, I always try to be as natural as possible with my photos, and these are all only cropped....no color enhancement or adjustments. I took over 100 photos for 3-4 I felt comfortable sharing lol. But, it was about a moment of inspiration with the fish and camera, not about the most spectacular photos....Rainbows are definitely a major inspiration for picking up my camera. At least it's not wasting film like the "old days"(not that many years ago!! lol)
