I feel your frustration with c.sentaniensis. I had some years ago...they even looked right, but DNA said they were hybrid.
The opinions you received on the facebook group are from top notch Rainbowfish experts. I can see it's pretty clear the fish you have are Not c.sentaniensis.....but I think your question is What are they then? They do look to be a c.fasciata. But, which one? One could assume they would be c.fasciata Lake Sentani....but we know better to assume anything.
I also see the discrepancy you pointed out in the links to Aquarium Glaser pages. Two totally different fish....one looks to be c.sentaniensis, while the other is definitely Not.....but they have the same name listed and a link on the 2017 page, to the 2013 page for more info. Very confusing.
Have you contacted them? I am a bit confused---where did you get your fish? Was it from them? Or another source?
Either way, I think this issue needs follow up. You deserve to get the fish you paid for, and the mix up on their website needs to be fixed.
thanks for posting ~Lori

The fish was importet thru local petshop from petra-aqua Czech Republic as C. Sentaniensis ,I tried to look for another source and I found Aquarium Glaser thru to another local petshop but the confusion was much bigger due the fish posted there , I have requast the stock for the code 410152 who seem to be the real C. Sentaniensis ,

Well, that sucks. Did Aquarium Glaser explain the different fish listed as the same species?
