The 1st eyes I've seen!! Been messing with these fish for about 10 months! It's taken lots of work, but here's hoping the next generation of Goo Obos is ready to grow! If you look closely, you can see the little spine starting to grow too. Wooohooo. Only a handful of eggs, but it's a start. Send good vibes so we can get these guys back in the hobby

Be aware the female will eat thebabies in a heartbeat. I could always tell when the eggs had hatcheb because the female woukd take up station out side the cave to snatch them. The male never ate them that I saw but did stop her either. I took the fry away as soon as possible after hatching, took bbs easily.

I've had to take care of the eggs myself with these fish. In the past, I've had them spawn in tanks and they let some of the fry grow up with them. Probably fast moving fry who took cover in the plants before they were eaten, until they were big and brave enough to come out of hiding. A few friends, same thing. These fish are older and low fertility rate, so had to manually remove infertile eggs myself. This is the 1st success in a long time.
Love it, those guys are certainly getting around. I hope they do well for you, keep me posted. I hope they continue to do well for you. I was just starting to get spawns from them when I had to let them go.
