Very interesting! Selective breeding is a great way to get your favorite fish. Unfortunately, you need a lot of tanks, space and time. So instead of doing it myself I will follow this thread. ;-)

If you have them Hans may be a good thing to try.Always good to see others results for conformation. not a big fan of selective breeding especially for color purposes only. but, good to be choosing the right fish for genetic strength.

also Adrian. you can use the add attachment at the top when you hit reply .thi this will upload from your computer. I really don't use the picture icon (3rd from left). unless inserting a hyperlink. The method I use is just my photobucket (img) code and insert it right into my reply where I am texting . so yes could seem confusing there are a few different ways

I am testing this now :-)) Yes, it worked - that is an odd way to do it. Most forums you just click the preview button and it pops up.

That worked. I will try the attachment method? Yes, that worked! These are the P. gertrudae from the Cadell R. (photo: Dave Wilson) Adrian

I used to keep the AruII gerts. These other locale pics, though Adrian, certainly rival anything I saw in them. And, man they are difficult to photograph!

You are right Lori.Very hard to photograph. This young guy fly's around all day. Growing him out with some mellis and I noticed some pygmaea in there also. Does not phase him in the least doing his thing. I broke up 2 versions of them. white pelvic and yellow. Still small and young but all extensions coming along real nice!. Trying to get a vid of the all whites soon.
