There are many reasons you may want to know more about where your water comes from, and what may affect your water parameters....

Here's the link to the USGS website. You can search your zipcode and see your local watershed. There are links for a lot of related info on there as well. This is US, but if anyone has info on other countries, please share them.

Great info and link Lori. Always good to know what's going on with your water locally. Especially during the spring,summer transition when additives start going into the water supplies for bacteria controls. We get a quarterly report here and good to pay attention too.
